The Fall of the Ancient Dome
We never thought to write something similar. It has always seemed a remote option, but the voyage of Ancient Dome ended up a few days ago.
An “end of works” desired by someone, accepted by someone else, in harmony and without losing mutual respect and friendship that has tied us.
Nineteen years of underground (melodic) thrash metal, a great musical progression … so many line up, four albums we are proud of and many friends who have supported, promoted and distribuited us, as well as many problems and many arguments; the time has come for us to take a break…
Surely this does not mean that we will hang up our musical instruments; there are so many ideas those deserve to be developed, so you will listen to us with other bands and other projects.
A big thank you to all those who met us and have become friends and supporters, to all those who have played even for a short time with Ancient Dome and to all those who have collaborated with us: sound engineers, graphic designers, record labels, etc.
We salute you with the words of a great Artist, “Let the Metal flow!”

Non avremmo mai pensato di doverlo scrivere perché ci è sempre sembrata un’opzione davvero remota, ma si è conclusa qualche giorno fa l’avventura degli Ancient Dome.
Un “punto a capo” richiesto da qualcuno, accettato da qualcun altro, il tutto in armonia e senza perdere la stima reciproca e l’amicizia che ci ha legato e continua a legarci.
Sono stati diciannove anni di thrash metal (melodico) underground. Siamo progrediti molto, abbiamo cambiato tante formazioni, registrato quattro album di cui andiamo fieri e conosciuto tanti amici che ci hanno supportato, promosso, distribuito, così come abbiamo superato anche tanti problemi e non siamo stati esenti da litigi, ma è giunto il momento di prendersi una pausa…
Sicuramente, questo non significa che appenderemo gli strumenti al chiodo; le idee rimangono tante, quindi avrete modo di sentirci ancora con altre band ed altri progetti.
Un grande grazie a tutti coloro che abbiamo conosciuto e sono diventati nostri amici e sostenitori, a tutti coloro che hanno suonato anche solo per poco sotto il nome Ancient Dome e a tutti quelli che hanno collaborato con noi: fonici, grafici, etichette discografiche, ecc.
Come avrebbe detto un grande Artista, “Let the Metal flow!”
