New Guitarist For Black Phantom

It is with great pleasure that Black Phantom announce that Toni Cacciapaglia (ex Forged in Blood) has joined as new guitar player.

Toni officially takes over from Luca Belbruno, one of the founding members since 2014, who left the band last summer.

“After this long period of forced inactivity, we are really happy to be back on track,” says Andrea Tito, bassist and leader of Black Phantom. “With a natural talent like Toni at our side, we really can’t wait to start again what got unfortunately interrupted immediately after the release of our second album ‘Zero Hour is Now’. The goal now is to finish the new album by the end of the year and at the same time return to play live as soon as possible. ”

The recordings of the new Black Phantom album have already started last year, with the recording of all the bass and drums tracks. Furthermore, also the unreleased tracks recently given by the band to the soundtracks of 3 American independent horror films (‘Sammy the Elf’ for the film ‘He Knows’ by Steven Morris,’Beast On The Loose’ for ‘Night of the Axe’ by Shawn Wright and ‘Listen To The Voice’ for ‘Hillsborough Road’ by Erick Kaslov and Larry Sands) will be remastered and included in the tracklist of the new album, still due to be released by Punishment 18 Records.

È con grande piacere che i Black Phantom annunciano l’ingresso nel gruppo del chitarrista Toni Cacciapaglia, ex Forged in Blood.

Toni prende ufficialmente il posto di Luca Belbruno, uno dei membri fondatori sin dal 2014, che ha lasciato la band l’estate scorsa.

“Dopo questo lungo periodo di inattività forzata, siamo davvero contentissimi di ritornare in pista”, afferma Andrea Tito, bassista e leader dei Black Phantom. “Con un talento naturale come Toni al nostro fianco, poi, non vediamo davvero l’ora di riprendere il discorso che purtroppo si era interrotto subito dopo l’uscita del nostro secondo disco ‘Zero Hour is Now’. L’obiettivo adesso è quello di finire di registrare il nuovo album entro la fine dell’anno e contestualmente tornare il prima possibile a suonare dal vivo.”

Le registrazioni del nuovo album dei Black Phantom sono già iniziate l’anno scorso, con l’incisione di tutte le tracce di basso e batteria. Inoltre, anche i 3 brani inediti recentemente realizzati dalla band per le colonne sonore di altrettanti film horror indipendenti americani (‘Sammy the Elf’ per il film ‘He Knows’ di Steven Morris, ‘Beast on the Loose’ per ‘Night of the Axe’ di Shawn Wright e ‘Listen to the Voice’ per ‘Hillsborough Road’ di Erick Kaslov e Larry Sands) verranno rimasterizzati ed inclusi nella tracklist del nuovo disco, in uscita ancora per l’etichetta Punishment 18 Records.
