The videoclip of Italian talented drummer Jonathan “A.D.D.” Garofoli (Azrath-11, Lost Soul, Naer Mataron, Absentia Lunae, Handful of Hate, Infernal Angels, Fearbringer (live), Elodea) performing a version of Nile’s song ‘The Blessed Dead’ contained in “In their Darkened Shrines” (2002, Relapse Records) can be seen below.
Jonathan: ‘I wanted to shoot a video with a transcription of all rolls, fills and sentences written originally by the drummer Tony Laureno, performer on the album “In their Darkened Shrines’ from Nile. This video required me almost 3 months of hard working (transcription, practice, shooting, editing and fixing)… there’s some small detail not perfect, but I can clearely say that I wanted to play exactly the same Laurano’s parts’.
