Drakkar: announces the new drummer!
The historical Italian power metallers Drakkar have announced that drummer Daniele Ferru will once again work with the band on a new record before leaving the legendary Viking ship to pursue other musical projects. The decision was made on absolutely amicable terms, and the remaining members want to thank and wish their friend Daniele all the best, as his presence over the past seven years has been absolutely essential. This will not cause any slowdown in the band’s projects, as they are ready to welcome back Paolo Pirola from IN.SI.DIA as the live drummer, a role he previously held before Daniele joined.

Gli storici power metaller italiani Drakkar hanno annunciato che il batterista Daniele Ferru lavorerà ancora una volta con la band su un nuovo disco poi lascerà la leggendaria imbarcazione vichinga per perseguire altri progetti musicali. Lo decisione è avvenuta in termini assolutamente amichevoli e i membri restanti ci tengono a ringraziare e augurare tutto il meglio all’amico Daniele, la cui presenza negli ultimi sette anni è stata assolutamente fondamentale. Questo comunque non comporterà alcun rallentamento nei progetti della della band che è pronta a ri-accogliere tra le proprie file Paolo Pirola degli IN.SI.DIA come batterista live, ruolo da lui già ricoperto in passato, proprio prima dell’ingresso di Daniele.
