Black Phantom:Two albums released on cassette & new songs for movie soundtracks
I BLACK PHANTOM di Milano, gli alfieri italiani della New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal, annunciano l’imminente pubblicazione su cassetta dei loro due album “BETTER BEWARE!” (2017) e “ZERO HOUR IS NOW” (2020), in edizione ultra-limitata (50 copie cad.) senza future ristampe.
Entrambi editi originariamente su CD dalla label PUNISHMENT 18 RECORDS, i due album sono stati concessi su licenza per la stampa su nastro all’etichetta REBORN THROUGH TAPES RECORDS: la data ufficiale di pubblicazione dei due nastri è il 26 Novembre 2020, ma è già possibile pre-ordinarli (ad un prezzo scontato) a partire dal 26 Ottobre 2020 sul sito della Reborn Through Tapes Records.
Il cantante della band Manuel Malini afferma: “L’attuale richiesta di cassette da parte del mercato ha oggettivamente sorpreso anche noi! Con l’uscita anche su nastro dei nostri due album siamo certi di fare un bel regalo a tutti gli appassionati di questo supporto, dell’Heavy Metal tradizionale, ed ovviamente ai nostri fedeli sostenitori!”
Il mese di Novembre segnerà inoltre il ritorno dei BLACK PHANTOM in studio di registrazione, per iniziare ad incidere una nuova serie di brani inediti, destinati alle colonne sonore di svariati film indipendenti stranieri, previsti per il 2021.
“Il periodo di lockdown, oltre a stimolare la nostra attività compositiva, con la scrittura di oltre 25 pezzi nuovi” afferma il bassista Andrea Tito, leader della band, “ci ha portato parecchie opportunità per allargare il nostro raggio d’azione, al di là degli abituali album. Abbiamo infatti stretto accordi con numerose case di produzione cinematografica americane ed inglesi per l’utilizzo dei nostri brani (sia editi che soprattutto inediti) all’interno dei loro film. Siamo entusiasti di questa novità, e non vediamo l’ora di condividere con voi tutte le uscite, mano a mano che saranno annunciate!”
Il primo film contenente pezzi dei BLACK PHANTOM sarà “CREATURES”, una sci-fi horror-comedy diretta da Tony Jopia, in uscita in UK a Natale 2020, che includerà il brano “Hordes Of Destruction”.

BLACK PHANTOM, the Italian paladins of New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal, are announcing the forthcoming release on cassette of their two albums “BETTER BEWARE!” (2017) and “ZERO HOUR IS NOW” (2020), in an ultra-limited edition (50 copies each) without future reprints.
Both originally released on CD by the label PUNISHMENT 18 RECORDS, these two albums have been licensed for tape printing to REBORN THROUGH TAPES RECORDS: the official release date of the two tapes is November 26th 2020, and it’s already possible to pre-order them (at a discounted price) on the RTT Records website, starting October 26th 2020.
“The current market request for cassettes has objectively surprised us too!” singer Manuel Malini says. “With the release on tape of our two albums, we are sure to make a nice gift to all fans of this medium and Traditional Heavy Metal, and of course to our loyal supporters! ”
The month of November will also mark the return of BLACK PHANTOM in the studio, to begin recording a new series of unreleased tracks for the soundtracks of various foreign independent films, scheduled for 2021.
“The lockdown period, besides boosting our songwriting activity, as we’ve written more than 25 new songs” says bassist and band leader Andrea Tito “has brought us some opportunities to broaden our range of action, beyond the usual albums. We have signed a bunch of licensing deals with several US and UK film production companies for the use of our songs (both released and unreleased) in their movies. We are really excited about it, and we’re really looking forward to disclose to you all the releases, as they get announced! ”
The first movie featuring BLACK PHANTOM tracks will be “CREATURES”, a sci-fi horror-comedy directed by Tony Jopia, due out in the UK at Christmas 2020, which will include the song “Hordes Of Destruction”.
